The Audi E-Tron – A Star Studded Background
In an ever changing world, celebrities are very keen to show their green credentials. And a number of celebrities have taken a shine to the Audi e-tron.
Prince Harry, for example, has been a long-standing admirer of electric vehicles. This is something he has clearly inherited from his father, the ever environmentally friendly King Charles III. Before moving to America, Prince Harry and Meghan could regularly be seen driving their Audi e-tron Quattro to events all over the UK.
Robert Downey Jr is another well known fan of the Audi e-tron range. In the guise of his on-screen persona, Tony Stark, Robert Downey Jr famously drove an Audi e-tron in the Avengers film, Endgame, in 2019. Mr Downey Jr loved the car so much that he bought his own top-of-the line Audi e-tron.
Celebrity Faces Of Audi E-Tron – Beyond Ownership
A raft of celebrities have been queuing up to be associated with the incredible Audi e-tron brand. In 2021 we saw Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page and actress Olivia Wilde as the faces of the brand. Towards the end of 2021 and into 2022 we have seen Stella McCartney taking on a starring role in the Audi e-tron adverts.
Stella McCartney, as with other promoters, is deeply passionate about the environmental message. She has made a strong stance on sustainable fashion, and appearing as the face of a major electric car brand is only strengthening her credentials as a full-on green spokesperson.
Sports teams have got behind the Audi e-tron as well. Tottenham Hotspur have been sponsored by Audi and have had several team members appear in Audi e-tron adverts. As a North London club, it is clearly an area which will affect the area in which they are based.
The Audi E-Tron Available at EV Sales
As with many brands of electric vehicle, the Audi e-tron comes in several different varieties. We are pleased to announce that the version we have for sale at EV Sales is the Audi e-tron 55 Quattro.
This was the very first of the Audi e-tron vehicles that arrived at our sister company, EVision Electric Vehicles, in 2019 and it is an absolutely amazing electric vehicle to drive… or look at even.
Audi is a manufacturer that is famed for producing high levels of quality, style and build. This, their first effort in the electric car world, is certainly no exception. It is a good sized SUV that feels absolutely solid.
As with the exterior, the interior of this e-tron just oozes class and sophistication. Once you get in this vehicle you know you are part of something very special. You will feel like a star yourself when driving about town.
How Does This Audi E-Tron 55 Quattro Perform?
The 2019 e-tron came with 95kWh battery, of which 86.5kWh is usable battery capacity. According to WLTP ratings this vehicle was capable of 271 miles on a full charge. However, the real world range is closer to 225 miles. As this car is only 3 years old, any degradation will be minimal on the original figures.
The 55 Quattro is an all wheel drive electric car that has 490lb per ft of torque, so you will notice the car pulling away. You get a top speed of 124mph and you can reach 62mph from standing in just 5.7 seconds. This goes to show you what a powerful machine this really is.
The Audi e-tron 55 Quattro can charge at speeds up to 155kW using CCS rapid charging and will get you from 10% charge to 80% in 26 minutes when charging at its full capacity.
